A TEAM of teachers from Salisbury High School is taking part in the annual Capital to Coast Cycle Challenge for Charity on June 27.
Capital to Coast is a 60-mile ride between Esher in Surrey and Hove (but also includes a circular 60-mile Hove to Hove route), and benefits five charities - Norwood, the Down's Syndrome Association, the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, Bliss, and Heart FM's Have a Heart appeal.
The Salisbury High School and Friends team has been organised by teacher Gillian Walmsley, who is taking part with her husband David and brother-in-law Ronan Smith. The causes that will benefit from the ride are particularly close to their heart, as Ronan's son Fergus was born with Down's syndrome.
