A SPECIALIST school near Ringwood is throwing open its doors this Sunday (13) for its summer fete and open day.
The Sheiling School has provided specialist support and care for children and young people with learning difficulties for nearly 60 years. This Sunday, from 1pm to 4.30pm there will be an extensive exhibition, including open classroom, open house and displays and videos of the school's work and future plans, as well as lots of fun things to see and do. To open the afternoon the school choir and the Ringwood Infant School choir will sing and do Maypole dancing. There will be live music from bands Axel and the Wheels and the Meerkats. There will be 30 stalls, with raffles, games, etc., a barbecue and a cafe serving home-made cakes and refreshments.
