AFTER seven years of fundraising the new Salisbury Quaker Meeting House has opened and members are preparing for the first fundraising event in the new building.
The Quakers have been fundraising tirelessly and have raised £500,000 to build the new meeting house on Wilton Road, but more money is still needed to equip the building to make it accessible to local community groups.
The first fundraising event is an attic sale on June 12 from 10am to 1pm. Donations of any saleable items would be welcome, call 01722 331195 or 325110 for more details.
