The Cathedral’s mighty Father Willis Organ will be out of action from the 23 of this month to facilitate essential repair work to the blower house roof.
While this is happening, we are taking the opportunity to carry out some minor remedial work on the instrument itself.
The work will be completed by 23 March so the organ will be sounding better than ever for Easter.
While this is taking place we will be using a digital computer organ built by Daniel Cook, using the pioneering Hauptwerk computer software.
