PEOPLE are being warned that adverse weather conditions could mean disruption to the waste collection service in some parts of the county.
Wiltshire Council has asked that household and commercial waste bins be left out if they have not been emptied by 4pm on the appropriate day and waste will be collected as soon as possible.
If recycling containers and garden waste containers have not been emptied by 4pm on the set day, residents are being asked to take them in and put them out again on the next scheduled recycling or garden waste collection day.
For more information on the changes to bin collection days due to the Christmas period log on to www.wiltshire.gov.uk.
Household waste and recyclable materials can be taken to any one of the ten household recycling centres in the county. Log on to the Recycle for Wiltshire website: www.recycleforwiltshire.com to find the nearest site and opening times.
