HI everyone and welcome to the Journal Gang page.
Ho ho ho! – is that Father Christmas I can hear? I expect he is loading up his sleigh right now ready to deliver all his gifts tomorrow night.
I hope you’ve got your stockings ready to hang up, and don’t forget to put out a mince pie and a drink for Santa and maybe a carrot for his hardworking reindeer too.
There has been so much excitement in the week’s running up to Christmas.
Here is a picture of children from St Andrew’s Primary School showing how wacky wigs and crazy costumes helped them look the part in their pantomime Cinderella. This picture shows Lucie White as Cinderella between Toby Easley and Alfie Steadman, who played her ugly sisters. What a great photograph.
Thank you to all the Gang members who sent me Christmas cards – it was lovely to receive them and they have made my desk look very colourful.
This week we’ll be catching up on a few more Christmas stories and although we don’t have a competition – they’ll be back in the New Year – there is a great festive wordsearch for you to try. But I’d better dash, I’ve got some more presents to wrap before the big day arrives.
I’ll be back next week but here’s a very merry Christmas to everyone in the Journal Gang.
Jill
