THE disco event for young people run by Wiltshire Police is launching at its new venue at the Chapel nightclub in Salisbury tonight.
The Bluez ‘n’ Zuz events were previously held at Salisbury City Football Club but were so popular a bigger venue was required.
Running from 7pm to 9pm, the Ultra Violet Bubble Party caters for youngsters aged 11 to 16 and is organised by the police with staffing support from partner agencies.
It costs £2 to get in and there is a chance to win prizes. There is also a free bus service by Wilts & Dorset, which will pick children up from around Salisbury, Wilton and Downton.
PCSO Jo Atkinson said: “We are very much looking forward to this evenings launch at the Chapel Nightclub and are positive that the event will be a big success.”
