THE Wilton branch of Riding for the Disabled has been presented with £1,420 thanks to the fundraising efforts of staff at Land Forces.
The money was raised at a Christmas raffle and will benefit the 250 people in south Wiltshire who use the centre.
Major General Mark Poffley, chief of staff at Land Forces, said: “This is an annual event, and is really commendable because we have such close connections to the local community.”
“The really important thing is that it has generated a lot of money but it pales into insignificance when you compare it to the work that the RDA does.”
