THE Bishop of Salisbury is endorsing new study resources to encourage learning about the Christian faith and its application in every day life.
The Fully Alive material, which includes Bible texts and illustrations from contemporary culture, can be used for youth, home or Confirmation study groups.
Dr David Stancliffe, who has personally encouraged clergy and parishes to take part in the initiative, said: “The Fully Alive study resources are more about responding to how we are allowing God to form us than about dry study.
“They’re about us recognising that God is already walking towards us long before we respond to him. About how he wants to change us when we meet him. About how we then live out changed lives.”
