A TEAM of young robot builders from Alderbury and West Grimstead school competed in the first Lego league robotics challenge in Winchester and came away with a well deserved trophy.
The team called Rokerjamash Robotics, which took the first initial of each team member’s name, had a busy day competing in three rounds of robot races against other schools.
Using their programming, maths, design, research and teamwork skills, the team raced their robot and then gave a presentation on their research topic before being grilled by the judges.
The team won the prize for the most enthusiastic all rounders and won personal medals as well a cup made out of Lego.
