CHILDREN from Fordingbridge Infant School shared their community spirit with older people at Allenbrook Nursing Home.
Deputy head Sue Joseph took her 27-strong Year 2 class to the nursing home, where they sang to the residents.
Mrs Joseph said: “The event is a great way of bridging the gap between the young and old. It was a very moving experience for the children and the older people.
“It is important for the children to see those people who do not manage to leave the nursing home and to bring great pleasure to those who rarely see children.”
