LARKHILL Community Partnership has given the Larkhill Packway a makeover. Durrington Town Council worked for two hours alongside the Royal Artillery and Wiltshire Council to clear away mounds of leaves, old signage and brambles, as well as replacing a broken salt bin.
The debris had collected on the Packway over several years and the makeover has been well received by local people.
The Larkhill Partnership, which is part of Stonehenge Community Area Partnership, has more plans to rejuvenate neglected and outdated areas of Larkhill.
Local councillor Graham Wright said: “I am delighted that our energy and drive was so well received. On the day we had help from many people and I wish to thank them all for a job well done.”
