RINGWOOD firefighters are having a special guest for breakfast on Sunday.
The man with the red suit and the big white beard will be star guest along with hundreds of children at the town’s fire station.
The children attending will receive an imitation fire helmet, a full breakfast and dessert and a present from Santa Claus.
Event organiser, Ringwood firefighter Kevin Hatfield, said: “Last year was our first Breakfast with Santa and it was a huge success with more than 150 children attending.
“Local businesses have been very supportive in offering donations, and we also have the full backing of the Ringwood fire crew as well as our Young Firefighters Association who will all be assisting on the day.
“Breakfast with Santa is great opportunity not only for young people to get a filling breakfast, a present, and a chance to meet Santa Claus, but also to learn vital fire safety messages.”
A few tickets for Breakfast with Santa are still available at £8 per child and can be booked through Mr Hatfield on 07918 659304.
There are two sittings on December 20, the first at 08.30am and the second at 10am at Ringwood Fire Station, Christchurch Road.
All proceeds from the morning will be shared between the Young Firefighters Association and the Firefighters’ Charity.
