TWO daring souls strapped on their parachutes and took to the air to raise money to help people with disabilities.

Spire FM’s Martin Starke joined Shaw Trust employee Darryn Millman to raise money for the trust in a sponsored parachute jump at Old Sarum Mr Millman, volunteer co-ordinator with the trust, said: “It was the experience of a lifetime, made even better by knowing that by taking on the challenge I was helping Shaw Trust to help disabled and disadvantaged people over come the barriers they face.

“The instructors from Skydive South Coast were great and seeing Old Sarum Castle grow from a spec was incredible.”

Altogether they raised £510.
