A GROUP of adventurous Brownies took a big step forward to find more adventure this week as they chose a special place to be invested into the Guides.
They were welcomed into the 10th Salisbury Guide unit by its 36 members who joined them under the city’s glittering Christmas tree and shared with them the moment they said their promise.
Assistant Guider Anne Marie Chalke said: “It was such a special night, the girls chose the place they felt would be special to them in their centenary year. It was really magical under the sparkling lights.”
Carols were sung loudly as they walked back through the streets with ten large pizzas donated by Pizza Express for their evening feast.
