WILTSHIRE Police has confirmed that the number of Halloween and Bonfire Night related incidents this year remained low across the county.
In total, 54 Halloween and 28 Bonfire Night related incidents were recorded across Wiltshire, which was similar to the numbers recorded last year.
Inspector Nick Bancroft said: “On both Halloween and Bonfire Night Wiltshire Police officers carried out high visibility targeted patrols across key locations throughout the county with the aim of reducing incidents of anti-social behaviour and reported crime.
“This approach appears to have been successful and combined with the continuing good work carried out by our partners in the community reinforces the message that Wiltshire is one of the safest counties in the country.”
