Hi everyone and welcome to the Journal Gang page. Tonight is bonfire night and the sky will be full of fireworks and smoke. I’m sure if you look out of the window you’ll see lots of rockets shooting up into the air and bursting into colourful stars.
There are also several displays going on at the weekend to look forward to. The Spireworks display takes place at the Livestock Market on Saturday and the Dinton Bonfire Boys are putting on their annual display at Philipps House in Dinton. I know some of you might go to a fireworks party – just make sure you always let an adult handle and light the fireworks and remember to follow the Fireworks Code. Whatever you do this bonfire night – have a great time, but stay safe.
Here is a picture of Connor Hocking who won a family ticket to Farmer Giles after he entered the competition to name some of the baby pigs born on the farm. Well done Connor and have a great day out.
This week wrestling fans could win tickets to see the CSF Superstar Wrestling at Five Rivers Leisure Centre and we’ll be finding out what treasures children at Greentrees Primary School discovered on a trip to Salisbury’s Guildhall.
See you next time,
Jill
