A FAMILY is trying to reunite a Salisbury couple with a camera they lost while travelling in Israel.
Anna Littlechild, from Chippenham, recently visited family in the country and her nephew Yuval told her he had given a young couple from Salisbury a lift, but realised when he got home that they had left their camera in his car.
The couple, known only as Patrick and Gemma, were travelling between Eilat and Jerusalem when Yuval picked them up in a place called Miszpah Ramone. They were looking for youth hostels in Jerusalem and Yuval told them the names of five before dropping them off in the city.
When he found the camera he tried contacting the youth hostels but no one recognised the names. Mrs Littlechild suggested that as she lived in Wiltshire she could take the camera home and contact the local paper.
Mrs Littlechild said: “I do hope you can help me return the camera to Patrick and Gemma and, of course, reunite them with their holiday memories.”
Anyone who can help reunite Patrick and Gemma with their camera, can contact the Journal newsdesk on 01722 426511.
