YEAR 4 pupils got a taste of the tropics last week as they saw exotic birds and lizards on a school trip to The Living Rainforest.
The children from Chafyn Grove School visited the enormous glasshouses near Newbury as part of their geography work for the term.
As well as birds and lizards, they got to see scorpions, monkeys, turtles and snakes, along with a huge array of plants and flowers.
