THE Wiltshire Federation of Women’s Institutes stepped back in time at its annual meeting as members celebrated fashion through the decades.
The historical fashion show saw WI members dressed up in fashions from the 1920s to the present to celebrate the 90th anniversary of Wiltshire WI this year.
Members were also treated to talks from Mike Evans and Graham Saunders, the founder of Wiltshire Air Ambulance and the current chief executive, David Farwig from Digital UK, and Sheila Dibnah, the widow of television steeplejack Fred Dibnah.
More than 600 people attended this year’s meeting in the City Hall and federation secretary Stephanie Pawling said the event was a success.
