A 15-YEAR-OLD girl has organised a glittering charity ball to raise money for Naomi House children’s hospice.
Hannah Reed, a pupil at Leehurst Swan School, has recently been elected as her class’s charity representative and set about planning the event that will take place at Salisbury’s Guildhall on November 14.
Guests will enjoy a three-course meal, raffle, auction and dancing and Hannah hopes her hard work will raise at least £1,000 for the charity.
Generous local businesses and individuals have offered a range of prizes for the raffle and auction including a ride on a camel, a flight over Salisbury Plain and meals out.
“I wanted to do something different and my mum has been involved with organising charity balls so I thought I would give it a go,” said Hannah.
“I’ve had lots of help and support from people.
“Naomi House is the school’s annual charity and I thought this would be a good way to support it.”
Tickets to the ball which runs from 7.30pm to 1am cost £30 and are available by calling Hannah on 01722 333221.
