Abicare Services Ltd are pleased to be exhibiting at Jobseekers 09 to help support their ongoing recruitment drive. The company has a regular need to employ full or part time people following the further expansion of the brand in 2009. Abilink was introduced earlier this year and this followed hot on the heels of the successful launch of Abiclean in 2007. Abilink provides an opportunity for users to talk to a friendly face, carer or relative, at anytime via their television set to further help people remain in their own homes.
Recognition remains a key part of Abicare’s ethos and the company is proud to boast many long-term employees among its numbers. One of their carers, Julie Jones, was recently recognized at the 2009 People Awards for her outstanding work within the local community. Julie has worked at the company for seven years and feels a valued member of the team.
The company’s rapid growth has meant an increase in genuine career opportunities. “It is not all about jobs at Abicare, there really are genuine opportunities for people looking for progression” explains manager Sandra Pitcairn. “These are exciting times for the company and we are delighted that this gives us a chance to find more good people to join our team.”
Abicare are actively seeking care assistants to work either as live-in or domiciliary carers. Abiclean are looking for cleaners to work on a part time basis with flexible hours to suit. Find out more by visiting the team on stand number 21 or visit www.abicare.co.uk
