PUPILS at Godolphin School cemented the twinning of Salisbury and Xanten as they welcomed exchange students from the German city to their school last week.
The girls from Xanten enjoyed trips to the cathedral, Stonehenge, Old Sarum and Bath during their four-day visit and one girl is staying at Godolphin School for two weeks to fully experience life in an English boarding school.
The two cities were officially twinned on St George’s Day, 2006.
