FOLK group the Yetties are performing in Alderholt village hall on November 14.
The Yetties, who are celebrating 42 years as a professional band playing folk music, took their name from the village of Yetminster, and still live in nearby Sherborne.
The concert is one of a series of events planned to raise funds for an extension to the village hall and the provision of better facilities for the community.
Tickets for the concert, which starts at 7.30pm, are £7.50 and are available from the Corner Stores in Alderholt.
A bar will be available.
Other events planned include a Ladies Night on December 17 and an evening with the Salisbury Swing Band on December 12.
