PADDY ASHDOWN is to visit Salisbury next month for an ‘Any Questions’ meeting with residents.
The former Liberal Democrat leader and international diplomat will discuss issues including the economy, the environment and foreign affairs.
The meeting, at Bishop Wordsworth’s School Chapel on November 5, is open to anyone, and free of charge. It starts at 8pm.
Lord Ashdown said: “I am looking forward to having a discussion with the people of Salisbury about problems they are facing and how together we can solve them.
“It is now more important than ever for politicians to get out of Westminster and engage with people about how to rebuild our economy and restore trust in politics.”
The event is being organised and hosted by Nick Radford, Prospective Lib Dem parliamentary candidate for Salisbury.
Anyone wanting to attend can email events@nickradford.co.uk, or phone 01722 432664. Places will be filled on a first-come-first-served basis.
