MARIE Curie Cancer Care has launched the Ladies Driving Challenge in Wiltshire with the help of the Wiltshire Police and Marie Curie Nurse Catherine LeRoy, hoping that local ladies will help raise £30,000 for Cancer Care.
The Ladies Driving Challenge is an opportunity for women only, to experience the thrill of driving a wide range of vehicles they would never normally get the opportunity to drive.
Vehicles up for grabs are likely to include 40ft Articulated Lorries, 4 x 4, Double Decker Buses, JCB’s and of course police cars.
The event is taking place on March 20 2010 at RAF Colerne, near Chippenham.
Each entrant will be asked to commit to raising £100 each and there is a non-refundable registration fee of £10.
