CHILDREN at Norman Court Pre-prep children sat entranced at their Harvest Service as they listened to Mr Niblett, from Lockerley Parish Church, telling them the story of Millicent Mouse.
Her lucky escape from a combine harvester, and kind offer of a new home by a friendly neighbour, taught them the value of generosity at a time of plenty for some, and hardship for others. Generous donations were collected for the Trussell Trust.
A Harvest Sheaf, baked in the Norman Court kitchen, complete with a Millicent poised to nibble the corn.
