THE popular continental market will return to Salisbury next month.
Stallholders will take over the Market Place on November 19 and 20, offering shoppers the chance to buy some pre-Christmas goodies from a wide range of produce from across the channel.
Peter Hutton, Salisbury City Council’s Fairs and Markets officer said, “Both residents and visitors to the city love the continental market for its eclectic mix and work is already underway for next year’s markets to make them bigger and better than ever before.”
Although this is the last Continental Market in the city for 2009 it will return in 2010. Dates will be announced in the New Year.
The continental market has been visiting the city since 2002 and will be open each day from 9am until 5pm.
