McDonalds in Salisbury can give you more than a satisfying good value meal. It could also be the pathway to an excellent career.
Whether you join us as a Crew Member or Trainee Business Manager, we can give you exceptional support, real progression opportunities, a range of excellent rewards and all the potential associated with working for a world-famous global brand.
McDonald's can be the employer you want it to be. If you're simply looking for flexible work or, part-time shifts that fit around your lifestyle then search no further. But if you want opportunities and career development, they're yours for the taking too. You just need to show commitment and the desire to progress.
Trainee Business Managers
At the start there is an intensive 18-week Management Development Programme (MDP) as a Trainee Business Manager.
This provides a thorough grounding in our business and all the commercial skills you need to thrive and develop into an effective Second Assistant Manager. Proving yourself at every step, you can then progress on to become a First Assistant Manager, through to Business Manager and beyond.
In time you could become an Operations Consultant – others might call this an Area Manager – where your expertise will make all the difference to an entire network of restaurants.
Crew Members
The CDP is our training system, consisting of a wide range of informative and easy to use materials. It aims to ensure all Crew Members receive the right knowledge and skills needed to deliver outstanding quality, service and cleanliness.
All employees have an opportunity to gain GCSE qualifications in English and Maths through online distance learning via our education department. We offer a government backed apprenticeship programme in hospitality which leads to an NVQ level 2 qualification. Following this training is structured to lead successful employees into the shift management training programme, leading to a level 3 diploma and as a business manger the opportunity to qualify for a university backed degree in Hospitality Management.
Developing people
We ensure our people are always improving, growing and developing. Testament to this is the fact that 80% of Managers start as Crew. They’re able to work their way up the ranks and fulfil a successful career thanks to first-rate training, a culture of opportunity and good old-fashioned hard work.
