A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of possessing and intending to supply class A and B drugs after police searched a car in Salisbury on Monday.
Officers searched a silver Citroen C5 in the Maltings car park in Salisbury at 9am.
They discovered a holdall with a large quantity of what they believe to be cannabis and several bags containing white powder.
A 38-year-old man, of no fixed abode but with connections to Southampton, was taken to Salisbury police station to be interviewed by police and the Citroen was seized.
The man was granted police bail until early December and the substances have been sent to the forensic science laboratory for examination.
