DURRINGTON residents armed with black bags and gloves joined forces at the end of September to clean up the village.
The sun was shining and there was a good turnout of people at the Big Tidy Up Day, including some students from Avon Valley College.
The group identified which areas needed clearing, and split up into smaller teams to tackle them.
Cllr Graham Wright said: “With the all the black bags finally stacked up outside the village hall, filled to the brim, it was agreed that a great job had been done.”
