PUPILS at Pitton Primary School have been praised for their outstanding behaviour and enjoyment of learning and lessons.
Ofsted Inspectors visited the school at the beginning of July and gave the school a rating of good for its overall effectiveness.
Quality of teaching was praised, as well as partnership with parents and achievements by pupils.
The school also received praise from the National Society, which inspects all church schools.
“The school, through its distinctive Christian character, is outstanding at meeting the needs of all learners,” it said.
Headteacher David Morgan said the school was delighted with both the reports.
“They recognise the achievements and progress that pupils, staff and governors have made,” he said. “More than that, they recognise the unique qualities that make Pitton a very special school.”
