CHRISTMAS cards will be sold to raise money for forces charity Help for Heroes from Salisbury’s charity card shop, which opened on Monday.
The Good Causes’ Charity Christmas card shop, run by volunteers, provides shoppers with the chance to buy cards from a range of 40 local and national charities, as well as Christmas goods.
This year is the first year Help for Heroes will benefit, and Dan Wells’ card featuring a night view of Salisbury Cathedral, winner of the shop’s 2007 photo competition, will also be on sale.
The shop is one of a national network of shops, which has raised £20million for charities over the past five years, with 75p of every £1 spent going to the charity.
It will be open from Monday to Saturday from October 13 to December 19 from 9.30am to 4.30pm.
