VOLUNTEERS from the newly formed Cruse New Forest attended its annual conference at Warwick University.

Speakers included Professor Robert Neimeyer, Professor of Clinical Psychotherapy, University of Memphis, USA who discussed research findings in the area of ‘Loss, Grief and the Quest for Meaning’. The New Forest Area has 16 bereavement volunteers trained in working with children and young people and has built up links with a number of local schools. Twice yearly training courses are run for people who want to become bereavement volunteers whilst the charity is always seeking help with administration and fundraising.
