PUPILS from Salisbury Cathedral School added extra interest to their study of the Tudors by spending the day at Hampton Court Palace.
In addition to a tour of the palace and its grounds, the year 3 youngsters took part in an educational workshop in the magnificent kitchens where, with the help of costumed characters, they learnt about what the Tudors ate and how they prepared their food.
“It was a thoroughly worthwhile visit", said teacher Jane Greenfield. "The Tudors really came alive for the pupils and they loved every minute of the experience.”
