Having been stuck in the office for most of the winter, it has been really refreshing to get out and about recently looking at places where the project is hoping to do some work this year. I have visited a number of places on the river where there is good public access. If you are looking for somewhere to go for a walk and enjoy the river and countryside around Salisbury, you could try one of these. Churchill Gardens - where we are planning some enhancements to the edge of the stream. Or if you are after something a bit further a field try Blashford Lakes Nature Reserve near Ringwood. This is somewhere where we will be working with Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust to create new paths and improve the access even further. There are lots of other places too. If you want some more ideas feel free to get in touch.
