A man has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after crashing his car into a parked car.
The police attended the scene on South Street in Wilton at 11pm last night (Sunday, December 1), where they arrested a man in his 50s who failed an alcohol breath test.
The man was transported to Salisbury District Hospital for a check-up and was later taken to the Police Station.
The Peugeot car was left smashed up on South Street, covered with police tape, just outside The Old Orchard Surgery, with debris all over the road and pavement.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: "We responded to a report that a driver had crashed into a parked car in South Street, Wilton.
"He was later taken to Amesbury Police Station where he failed an alcohol breath test and was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving."
