A Victorian Christmas experience is set to bring favourite stories to life in Salisbury.
The National Trust team at Mompesson House, in Cathedral Close, has launched A Fairytale Christmas, transforming rooms into an immersive storytelling experience.
Themed rooms include the three bears' Christmas feast, Cinderella’s grand ball, The Little Mermaid, The Princess and the Pea, and the Snow Queen. Visitors can also listen to fairytales in the library.

Visitor experience officer Jennifer Grene said: "Christmas at Mompesson House is always a very special time to welcome visitors.
"Volunteers and staff have been working behind the scenes preparing for our most magical festive experience to date."
Throughout Christmas, there will be a free fairytales activity sheet to keep little ones busy and free weekend storytelling sessions in the second-hand bookshop.
The tearoom and bookshop will be open throughout the festive season.
A Fairytale Christmas is open to Monday, December 23, Friday to Tuesday, 11am to 3.30pm, with the last entry at 3pm.
Entrance is free for National Trust members, and normal admission charges apply for non-members.
Christmas at Mompesson includes two upstairs rooms and the library, which are not accessible to motorised wheelchairs.
Printed guides and a video walkthrough of these rooms will be available.
