CUSTOMERS and staff braved Storm Bert to help a Salisbury business celebrate its 10th anniversary in style on Saturday (November 23).

Molly Cook, who founded The Hair Extension Cave in a garden cabin before moving it into the city centre, organised the party at the business's Silver Street studio.

Around 100 people attended, and some left with freebies such as hair and beauty appointments and hair straighteners thanks to a raffle.

“I didn’t expect many people to come because there was a storm, but the first and second floors were both packed.

“We had people from the hair extensions industry who follow me on Facebook travel down from Manchester – people that I’ve never met before!”

She added: “It was amazing to see what brilliant people I have around me and that we were able to celebrate together.”

Live entertainment was captured by Bristol band The Bonsais, DJ Martin Barrow and dancers dressed as disco balls brought by Lottie Dennis.

Molly has also thanked Lisa Pedley for providing catering, Sarah Baldry and Michelle Crosser for offering hair and make-up, and Spencer Mulholland and Dan Willock for capturing the occasion with their photography and videography.
