Stonehenge has been ranked among the most dangerous UK landmarks outside of London to drive past.
Research from Ivy Casino analysed data from the UK Government’s THINK Map to find the UK landmarks with the most traffic incidents between 2018 and 2022.
Of the top 10 landmarks that see the most traffic incidents, nine are in London, including Kew Gardens, London Science Museum, and Big Ben.
Brighton Pier is the only landmark outside of London that features in the top 10, being in third place overall.
The Sussex spot topped the top 10 list outside of London, with Stonehenge featuring in third place on that one.

The top 10 most dangerous UK landmarks to drive past outside of London according to Ivy Casino's analysis were:
- Brighton Pier - yearly average of 12.4 traffic incidents
- Scott Monument - yearly average of 7 traffic incidents
- Stonehenge - yearly average of 6.4 traffic incidents
- Blackpool Pleasure Beach - yearly average of 5.2 traffic incidents
- Leeds Castle - yearly average of 5 traffic incidents
- Humber Bridge - yearly average of 5 traffic incidents
- Angel of the North - yearly average of 4.6 traffic incidents
- Museum of Liverpool - yearly average of 3.6 traffic incidents
- Canterbury Cathedral - yearly average of 3.6 traffic incidents
- Portsmouth Historic Dockyard - yearly average of 3.6 traffic incidents
In a statement, Ivy Casino wrote: "Although Brighton Pier is the only landmark outside of London in the overall top 10, three more non-London attractions placed in the top 20.

"The Scott Monument in Edinburgh saw 35 traffic incidents from 2018 - 2022. Seven incidents per year ranked the Victorian Gothic monument 15th on the overall list.
"Stonehenge in Wiltshire ranked 17th overall, the third highest non-London landmark. There have been 32 incidents between 2018 and 2022, an average of 6.4 per year.
"Other famous landmarks outside of London that are at the highest risk for traffic incidents include Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Angle of the North in Gateshead, and Canterbury Cathedral."
