SANDY Balls has had a festive makeover with a host of enchanting activities being held across its park.
Away Resorts, which runs the New Forest holiday park, has spruced up five of its 25 parks.
It has brought in twinkling lights, heartwarming entertainment and added a sprinkle of Christmas magic for its Forest of Light event, which runs until January 2.
Guests can step into a magical wonderland with the Forest of Light transforming the main the park’s centre into an enchanting world with twinkling fairy lights.

Melody Munday, head of entertainment for Away Resorts, said: “We’re inviting families and friends to celebrate Christmas with us at Away Resorts, where unforgettable memories await in a magical setting. Just like Santa’s Elves, our team has worked hard to create extraordinary Christmas experiences that guests will forever treasure.”
Activities on offer include:
• Snow Globe: Create a sparkling wish with a magical snow globe to treasure for years to come.
• Elf Slime Factory: Christmas just got delightfully slimy! Channel the inner cheeky elf and dive into the festive fun.
• Christmas Pottery Painting: Add some festive flair with this Christmas pottery painting extravaganza!
• Santa’s Magical Meeting: Step into a world of enchantment at Santa's Magical Meeting, where the spirit of Christmas comes alive.
• Santa’s Wish Jars: Transform a simple jar into a beacon of Christmas cheer by decorating it with vibrant, translucent colors. Add sparkling battery-powered lights to illuminate the creative designs, giving the wish jar a magical glow. Finish it with a rustic sisal twine handle, perfect as a bedside companion or a charming addition to Christmas décor. All that's left is to make a wish and let the festive spirit light up the home!
• Christmas Decoration Station: Unleash creativity and craft beautiful decorations just like the elves in their workshop!
• Mrs. Claus’ Kitchen: Mrs. Claus invites guests into her cosy kitchen for a festive treat-making adventure!
• Make a Christmas Plushie: Embark on a festive adventure at the Teddy Bear Workshop and bring a special Christmas Teddy to life!

Away Resorts is also holding Winterfest and Santa’s Wish: A Christmas Show at Tattershall Lakes until December 23.
Sandy Balls, Tattershall Lakes, Mill Rythe, Retallack, The Bay Filey, Kenwick and Piperdam will also be serving a special Christmas-themed menu which includes a ‘pigs in blankets toasted ciabatta’ and ‘stuck in the chimney burger’, as well as the all-important Christmas Day lunch on December 25.
