ROCKS and other objects have repeatedly been thrown at lorries and other large vehicles in the middle of the night in a Wiltshire village.
Police officers based in Amesbury have received several reports of items being thrown near St Andrew's Church in Collingbourne Ducis between 1am and 4pm.
They have asked members of the public to come forward if they have any information or know who is responsible for the dangerous behaviour.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “We have received numerous reports over the last few months about HGVs and other large vehicles being targeted on the A338 Tidworth Road, Collingbourne Ducis, by St Andrew's Church.
“Rocks and other large items are being thrown at and causing damage to vehicles as they pass between the hours of 1am and 4am.
“This is extremely dangerous for road users and we are looking to the public for any information which may help our investigation.
