SALISBURY looks rather wintry this morning as snow falls in the city.
These pictures were taken at around 9.45am on Milford Street and New Canal as the snowfall began to intensify and some started to settle on rooftops.
The Met Office's weather report for today (Thursday, November 21) says locals can expect around another hour of snowfall, with temperatures at a chilly 2°C.
Later on today, the snow is expected to stop, and we could see the sun creep out from behind the clouds at around 3pm – but the temperature won't exceed 4°C.
The weather service forecasts Friday to be slightly warmer, reaching 6°C, but it seems we could be in for a wet weekend, especially on Saturday.
Responding to a video posted on the Salisbury Journal's Facebook page this morning, Elena Alice Nagy said: "Absolutely made my day! I'm over the moon. Hope it will snow at least until Christmas."
Fran Parmenter commented: "How cool is that! Love a bit of snow."
