The Journal is speaking to some of Salisbury school’s new head teachers for 2024.
Next is Mr Matthew Morgan of Bishop Wordsworth's School, who has taken over from Dr Stuart Smallwood.
Mr Morgan comes to Bishops having worked as headmaster at Sir Thomas Rich's school in Gloucester which, like Bishops, educates boys with a mixed sixth form.
He said: "When this job came up, it was the location of the Cathedral and the school's work with the Cathedral, and being in the Close and close to the city of Salisbury that made me think it was time for a change."

Mr Morgan completed his PGCE at the University of Cambridge having studied an undergraduate degree in geography at Royal Holloway University and a masters degree in educational leadership.
Speaking of his first term at Bishops, Mr Morgan said: "It's been really challenging and really exciting.
"The challenge is, I know the job as a headmaster but I don't know the school and it's really important to me to use my fresh pair of eyes to look at everything and make an assessment of what's working really well and make ideas of where we can make improvements."
Mr Morgan told the Journal he has been enjoying meeting all the members of the school community, from parents, to students, staff and governors.

He said: "The teachers are very much subject experts. They are really interested in their subjects and want to communicate the love of that to students - that's been a really lovely thing to uncover."
Mr Morgan has also been impressed and is keen to continue the school's dedication to music and sports.
"Music is really, really strong. It's a real privilege to go to the Cathedral when the choir are singing", he said.
One of Mr Morgan's priorities as new headmaster is "enhancing the school's facilities" over the upcoming years.
He told the Journal that the old buildings are "really special", but adding that: "some of the school's facilities are looking a bit tired - needing more than just a lick of paint. We're short of space for labs and classroom space so making sure we're properly equipped so subject experts can deliver the best possible learning."
Mr Morgan is looking forward to his time leading the school, saying: "I feel very privileged to be appointed and I am looking forward to the years ahead."
