A popular fashion event raising money for a hospital charity is returning to Salisbury.
The Preloved Fashion and Sustainable Shopping Event will take place on Thursday, November 21, from 7pm to 10.30pm in the Guildhall.
The event, which is organised by Lynne Rose and Corinne Whillock, raised more than £4,753 last year for Salisbury District Hospital’s Stars Appeal.
The organisers are hoping to raise even more this year.
Every ticket sale, donation and purchase made at the event will directly benefit the Stars Appeal, supporting projects across all wards.

Last year’s sold-out event drew more than 200 guests and for 2024, Lynne, managing director at Personnel Placements, and Corinne, owner of Lulu & Boo Sustainable Jewellery, have expanded the event with more features.
The Preloved Fashion Event offers a unique shopping experience.
As well as a handpicked selection of high-quality preloved and vintage fashion boutique sellers, sustainable makers and homeware sellers, guests can look forward to a welcome glass of prosecco, live singers, the all-new ‘Expert Corner’ in the Oak Court Room, where guests can find styling and hair advice and tips, get ‘their colours done’ as well as sit and relax with a drink from the event bar.

The now famous fashion returns for 2024 too.
Corinne and Lynne’s connection to the Stars Appeal is deeply personal.
Corinne’s career as a midwife allowed her to witness first-hand the charity’s impact on patient care.
For Lynne, the charity holds significance due to her father’s journey with cancer and the exceptional care he received at Salisbury District Hospital and more recently the support for her husband from the Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) team after a rare and sudden condition left him completely deaf.
Lynne and Corinne will be joined on the evening by fellow fundraisers and Stars Appeal Trekkers Colin Ford, Michael Whillock, Jo Maslen, Viv Grant and Anita Goddard – all of whom are fundraising ahead of the Stars Appeal Dalai Lama Mountain Trek in India in 2026.
Tickets are £17.50 and include a glass of prosecco on arrival, with all proceeds donated to the Stars Appeal.
