A 10-year-old boy from Salisbury has released his first book.
Edwin Hopley, a pupil at a local school, wrote his book, The Safekeeping Dragon of St. Osmund’s, while in Year 5.
The story is set in Salisbury and follows a young dragon from Middle Earth who finds himself lost in the historic town.
As he navigates his way through this strange new world, he encounters a family who takes him under their wing, leading to a heartwarming adventure full of surprises and new friendships.

Edwin was involved in every step of the process, from working with the illustrator to fine-tuning the final manuscript, the result is a beautifully illustrated book.
Edwin said: "I just wanted to share my dragon world. My ideas come when I am dreaming."
The Safekeeping Dragon of St. Osmund’s is now available to buy locally, along with a range of dragon-themed merchandise, including dragon eggs carefully selected by Edwin and his family.
A review of the book said: "Edwin’s book is a delightful read, but also a celebration of local creativity and the magic that lies within every child’s imagination."
