AN iconic steam locomotive will be stopping at Salisbury Railway Station next month.
On December 14, steam locomotive 'Clan Line' will be stopping in Salisbury, offering locals the opportunity to visit for a close up look.

The locomotive, built in 1948, will be situated in one of the bay platforms during this time, offering a rare opportunity for everyone to come and see it up close.
Visitors will have the opportunity to step aboard the footplate for a first hand look at the workings of a classic steam engine; find out more about the locomotive as it celebrates 50 years on the mainline under MNLPS ownership in 2024 as well as meet the Merchant Navy Locomotive Preservation Society (MNLPS) team, who are dedicated to preserving and operating 'Clan Line' and will be available to share their expertise and answer questions.
