AS traffic on Wilton Road continues, bus services are being diverted to avoid the worst of the disruption.
Wilton and surrounding areas have seen huge delays on the roads this week due to four way temporary traffic lights that are in place while gas works are carried out.

Salisbury Reds has stated on its website that it will not be serving the normal route from the city centre, instead travelling from Skew Bridge along Roman Road and to Devizes Road before travelling to the Avenue. This is for services leaving town, but buses will serve the normal routes back into the city centre.
This will affect the 2, 25 26, 27, PR3 and R3, and the 2A bus will not be serving the Avenue, instead staying on Devizes Road.
The R8 will serve a normal route.
Salisbury Reds operations manager David Newton said: “We are doing everything possible to minimise disruption for our customers during these works. Our buses are now diverting via Roman Rd, Devizies Rd and the Avenue to avoid the A36.
“There are still delays of up to an hour and we are looking at further ways to speed up our services.
“Unfortunately, buses are not immune to the effects of traffic. However, we urge local people to consider leaving their cars at home and travelling with us instead. Just one fully-loaded double decker bus has the potential to remove up to 75 cars from the roads - and this could help ease congestion in the area considerably.”
