RINGWOOD fell silent to remember those who lost their lives in conflict on Remembrance Sunday (November 10).
The town in the New Forest held several services, a procession to War Memorial Garden and a formal act of Remembrance at mid-day, followed by a wreath-laying ceremony.
Members of the public were invited to attend and lay their own tributes.
The Ringwood Afternoon Women's Institute (WI) made a display of more than 8,000 poppies for the occasion, which was outside the Greyfriars Community Centre.
The parade and service were organised by Ringwood Town Council in association with the Royal British Legion, the UK's largest armed forces charity.
The Rotary Club of Ringwood managed road closures and helped marshal the parade.

On Armistice Day (Monday, November 11), a service was held in the War Memorial Garden from 10.45am ahead of the national two-minute silence.
In accordance with local tradition, the start and end of the silence was marked by the firing of a maroon, creating a loud bang heard around the town.
Earlier in the month, on Saturday, November 2, a service was held at the Commonwealth War Graves in Ringwood Cemetery, which saw poppy crosses laid on the graves of service personnel who were laid to rest in the town.
