People of all ages from primary school children to veterans attended to remember those who fought for the country during the war. Prayers were read by reverend canon Kelvin Inglis, the last post was played and a two minutes silence was observed at 11am.
Wreaths were laid on the memorial by city councillors and the mayor of Salisbury.
